The Story
About Exclusive Design By Emporium
There would not have been an Emporium Limited Edition glass Co. without the help and guidance of The one and only Mr. Frank Fenton.
From a simple call to ask for assistance with a some glass I was selling, Mr. Fenton help guide me into the world of glass and in 2001 I began issuing Fenton wares with my original design Violet with a Bee. When the Fenton Co. went out of business in 2011 it was the end of continuing Emporium. Or was it?
In late 2020, after months of self quarantine, I got bored and wanting to cheer myself up posted pictures of my design samples in a glass collector group on Facebook and the response was to put it mildly- AMAZING.
I decided to throw caution to the wind and resurrected my company to known as Exclusive Design By Emporium. To date we have presented 6 brand new items with our iconic Violets with a Bee design and in April of 2021 our second design Clover with a Bee was first presented to the public. To date there are 11 samples in various colors that have been created. They are all hand decorated and fired for brilliance and permanence. What we do. I work with original moulds used by the great glass houses of the last century. Taking inspiration from the original concepts, I use a new color, a new decoration, or a different treatment to bring these moulds back to life and attractive to todays market.
